Phil truly is a master plasterer

Phil truly is a master plasterer! We had a very bitty job to be done with various rooms in different states of repair, and some pretty large holes and wonky walls, as well as some ceiling plastering to be done. But this didn’t phase Phil at all. I’m very pleased with the work he did, and he cleaned up everything at the end of the job. Also probably the friendliest bloke you could have work on your house. I’d definitely get Phil in again for any further work we might have pop up.

Incredibly tidy and professional

Phil did an amazing and faultless job on plastering our through-lounge, dining room, downstairs bathroom, upstairs and downstairs landing plus all the ceilings. Not a single complaint, work was done to a perfect quality level and Phil also works in an incredibly tidy and professional manner. He was an absolute pleasure to get work done by and is one of the most friendly people we have ever met and he also gave us lots of advice – we will definitely be getting work done by him again and would recommend him to anyone without a second thought. The only thing you will have to tolerate is his singing but thankfully we loved it!

Phil did some excellent work on our bathroom walls a couple of years ago, the quality of his plastering is superb.
We just got him back to do some outside rendering and that is equally as good, it looks fresh and sharp, Phil pays a lot of attention to details and likes to work in a tidy environment. Proper craftsman with skills that are probably quite hard to match, we highly recommend him to anyone that needs plastering work.

I would say his work is excellent

Phil did a large amount of work in my house ranging from large walls up the stairs to the ceilings in various rooms. He even did external rendering at short notice! I would say his work is excellent, first class, look no further than the master plasterer as he is so thorough, particular and professional. I also found Phil to be a very lovely and interesting man so nice to have around the house important when they are spending a lot of time there!

You want your job done by a trusted tradesperson

When I sent my enquiry to Phil he was quick to respond. He visited and took a look at the task that needed to be done.
When he visited to look at the work he shared with me a lot of information I never knew about the task, and plastering in general.

After a while I understood what needed to be done and I appreciate that Phil took the time to explain the ‘Why’ in the work.

Phil’s diary is busy. I initially thought that, like the rest of the world, there would be ample of openings to get the work booked in but it turns out that Phil’s work had likely increased over this covid period because everyone’s sat at home, so the demand had increased.
Instead of going elsewhere, I asked when was his next free slot and it was only 2-3 weeks away. I wasn’t in no rush and I was honestly happy to wait. So I got it booked in.

As agreed, Phil arrived exactly when he said he would. I showed him to the area that needed work done. Mentioned that if he needed anything to give me a shout.

I occasionally visited the work area to drop him a cup of tea and every time I visited I could see progress. Also a lot of mess which was to be expected.

When I say mess. I mean a lot of old broken plaster.

I touch on this because when the job was done the entire area was spotless. Phil makes sure that the entire work area is clean. He understands that your home is your home and treats it with respect from start to finish.

Would I use Phil again? Yes. The job was done to a great standard.

Would I recommend Phil? Yes, absolutely. You want your job done by a trusted tradesperson ? Then this is your guy

Completed to a high standard

Phil managed to fit in a last minute plastering job on our ceiling, it was completed to a high standard and in the time frame expected, the area was left clean and tidy and Phil was really a pleasure to have working in the house, very friendly guy.
